The UK Sentenced A Baby To Death

This past week, an eight-month-old baby named Indi Gregory passed away after the UK government chose to pull her life support plug. This occurred despite repeated appeals by the parents, a personal invitation to the Vatican hospital for treatment, and the government of Italy granting Indi citizenship and treatment options. With all the options available and at no cost to the UK, they still chose to pull the plug, ultimately resulting in the baby’s death shortly afterward. This should serve as a reminder to all of how dangerous and frightening universal healthcare can be.
